Erica Poynter Guffey of Glasgow, Kentucky, passed away on July 19, 2026, at age 33, after a life that began on August 24, 1992.
Family members remember Erica through the many relationships shared with parents Alicia Beckham and Eric Poynter, children Bryer Brown, Parker Brown, and Kollyns Guffey, grandparents, siblings, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Erica was preceded in passing by grandfather Ernest Poynter and great-grandparents Gelee Jameson, Virgil T. Grinstead, Irene Vance Grinstead, Talbert Poynter, and Maxine Poynter.
Visitation will take place Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Friday, July 24, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Patton Funeral Home - Park City Chapel, 23961 Louisville Rd, Park City, KY 42160.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 24, 2026, at the same location.
